Introduction

Interval Desk (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Interval Desk: Focus Timer (the “App”).

Interval Desk is a focus and break timer with named desks, local session history, optional soundscapes, a Lock Screen countdown / Live Activity, and a Home Screen widget. Desk Pro unlocks more desks, soundscapes, charts, streak, themes, and CSV export via Apple In-App Purchase (RevenueCat). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Desk and session inputs. Desk names, accent colors, task labels, interval presets, soundscape choice, imported audio you choose from Files, theme preference, and session history you create stay on your iPhone (and the App Group used by the widget on the same device).

Subscription information. If you purchase Desk Pro, Apple processes the purchase. We (and RevenueCat, when configured) receive entitlement / purchase status so the App can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your card number.

Automatically Collected Information

Device information. When a Firebase configuration for project intervaldesk-ios is present in the build, Firebase may use a device / installation identifier for Analytics and Crashlytics.

Usage analytics. With that Firebase configuration present, the App may send product-interaction events (screens, timer actions, paywall, and purchases) and crash diagnostics. If the configuration file is absent, those services are not started.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. The App does not use the advertising identifier and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App (timer, desks, soundscapes, widget, Live Activity)
• Process Desk Pro subscriptions and restore purchases
• Send local notifications when a focus or break block ends (if you grant permission)
• Monitor reliability via crash and performance diagnostics when Firebase is configured
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues

Your desk content and session history are not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, or tracking across third-party apps or websites.

Data Storage and Security

• Core app data is stored locally on your device.
• When Firebase is configured, analytics and crash data are processed by Google Firebase under their terms.
• We implement appropriate technical measures available on iOS (App sandbox, App Group for the widget).

Third-Party Services

Interval Desk may use third-party services required for app functionality:

• Apple App Store — In-App Purchases and subscriptions
• RevenueCat — Subscription entitlements and purchase state (when a public SDK key is configured)
• Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics — Analytics and crash reporting (only when GoogleService-Info.plist for intervaldesk-ios is present)

These services operate under their own privacy policies and process data only as required to support app functionality.

Subscription and Payment Information

• All purchases are processed securely through Apple’s App Store.
• We do not collect or store your payment card details.
• Subscription status and entitlements are handled by Apple and, when configured, RevenueCat.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Your Rights and Choices

• Delete local desks and session data by removing the App (or clearing app data)
• Deny notification permission; the timer still runs
• Restore purchases at any time from the paywall or Settings
• Contact us regarding privacy-related questions

Children’s Privacy

Interval Desk is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
