Privacy Policy
Introduction
PourShelf (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application PourShelf: Bar Cabinet (the “App”), bundle ID com.pour.shelf.PourShelf.
PourShelf is an on-device cocktail recipe shelf with pour ratios, a shopping list, and an optional bottle cabinet. Recipes, favorites, custom builds, and lists stay on your iPhone (SwiftData). There is no account and no cloud lock-in for core content. An 18+ age confirmation is required before alcohol-related content is shown. PourShelf Premium unlocks unlimited favorites and builds, serving scale, cabinet inventory, widgets, and PDF share cards via Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit / RevenueCat when configured). By using the App, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
On-device bar content. Recipes you create or favorite, pour-ratio builds, shopping-list items, cabinet inventory, and unit preferences stay on your device (and the App Group used by widgets on the same device when Pro is unlocked).
Subscription information. If you purchase PourShelf Premium, Apple processes the purchase. We (and RevenueCat, when a public SDK key is configured) receive entitlement / purchase status so the App can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your card number. Product IDs: com.pour.shelf.PourShelf.monthly and com.pour.shelf.PourShelf.yearly.
Automatically Collected Information
When analytics / crash services are configured in a given build, the App may process the following categories (not linked to your identity, not used for tracking across other companies’ apps or websites):
- Device ID — installation / anonymous identifiers used for Analytics and App Functionality (Firebase app-instance ID and/or RevenueCat anonymous ID when those SDKs are active)
- Purchase History — App Functionality (StoreKit / RevenueCat entitlements)
- Product Interaction — Analytics (screens and feature usage)
- Crash Data, Performance Data, Other Diagnostic Data — App Functionality (reliability)
Firebase soft-gate. Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics for project pourshelf-ios start only when a valid GoogleService-Info.plist is present in the build. If that file is absent, those services are not started.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising. The App does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App (shelf, ratios, shopping list, cabinet, widgets)
- Enforce the 18+ age gate and keep alcohol content age-appropriate
- Process PourShelf Premium subscriptions and restore purchases
- Monitor reliability via crash and performance diagnostics when Firebase is configured
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
Your recipes, lists, and cabinet data are not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, or tracking across third-party apps or websites.
Data Storage and Security
- Core app data is stored locally on your device.
- When Firebase is configured, analytics and crash data are processed by Google Firebase under their terms.
- We rely on iOS sandboxing and, for widgets, the App Group on the same device.
Third-Party Services
PourShelf may use third-party services required for app functionality:
- Apple App Store — In-App Purchases and subscriptions
- RevenueCat — Subscription entitlements and purchase state (when a public SDK key is configured)
- Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics — Analytics and crash reporting (only when GoogleService-Info.plist for pourshelf-ios is present)
These services operate under their own privacy policies and process data only as required to support app functionality.
Subscription and Payment Information
- All purchases are processed securely through Apple’s App Store.
- We do not collect or store your payment card details.
- Subscription status and entitlements are handled by Apple and, when configured, RevenueCat.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Your Rights and Choices
- Delete local recipes, lists, and cabinet data by removing the App (or clearing app data)
- Restore purchases at any time from the paywall or Settings
- Contact us regarding privacy-related questions
Age and Alcohol Content
PourShelf is intended for adults. You must confirm you are 18 or older before using alcohol-related content. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
